T-Engine is a standard development platform equipped with realtime OS (T-Kernel) and standardized hardware to improve the efficiency of building ubiquitous computing devices or solutions. The SuperH™ and M32R family processors, which are 32-bit RISC
Microcomputers developed by Renesas Technology Corporation, are
embedded into the standardized hardware in line with the T-Engine specification. Software, in the form of realtime OS (T-Kernel) source code, is available for download free of charge from the T-Engine forum.
This page features a variety of software and information for operating the SH/M32R T-Engine with the aim of making the T-Engine easier to use.
Software that is available for download includes a GNU compiler, T-Monitor source code, and various device driver source codes.
T-Kernel source code and patches for T-Kernel are can be obtained free of charge from the T-Engine Forum website (http://www.t-engine.org) by agreeing to a software agreement. (It is not distributed on this website)
While it is our general policy to provide
software free of charge by agreement from the website, details about
conditions for use differ for each piece of software and so please
read carefully the documents or printed material that accompany each.
